Bio

Susanne E. Hall is post-doctoral fellow at Duke’s Thomson Writing Program, where she is a member of a  multi-disciplinary cadre of professors who teach the first-year writing seminar, the only course taken by all freshmen at Duke.  For 2009-2010 she will be teaching a seminar focused on digital writing called “Literature of Your Lifetime: Exploring the Effects of New Media on Writing.” Her 2008-2009 seminar was called “Arguing for Revolution: Investigating Radical Rhetorics.”

Susanne received her Ph.D. in English in Spring 2008 from the University of California, Irvine. In addition to her academic work, her interests include cooking, letterpress printing, gardening, and riding her bike.
