Susanne E. Hall is post-doctoral fellow at Duke’s Thompson Writing Program, where she is a member of a multi-disciplinary cadre of professors who teach the first-year writing seminar. She is currently teaching a course exploring how emerging technology is the changing nature of humanity and human communication called The Posthuman Author: Technology, Writing, Humanity. For in Fall 2009 she taught a seminar focused on recent writing, including digital literature and metafiction, called “Literature of Your Lifetime: Exploring the Effects of New Media on Writing.”
Susanne received her Ph.D. in English in Spring 2008 from the University of California, Irvine. In addition to her academic work, her interests include vegan cooking, letterpress printing, gardening, and riding her bike.
